Registration

A total of 5 students and one staff liaison will be accepted from each university.

Students

Each university’s staff liaison manages the selection of participants on their campus. A total of 5 students are accepted from each university. If you are a student, please contact your school’s Office for Undergraduate Research for requirements, applications, and applicable internal deadlines. Each school will select participants as follows: three (3) students from each school will do 10-min live presentations and two (2) students from each will do 5-minute live presentations. See here for more details about presentation formats. In addition to presenting their research live via Zoom on April 9-10, all participants (students) will upload their research (250-500 word abstract and a PDF of poster or presentation slides) directly via Symposium, and a link for doing so will be provided via email from your home university’s faculty liaison. The deadline for uploading this information to Symposium is March 31, 2021. 

Faculty and Staff

Please submit the following information by February 26, 2021:

  • Participant names
  • Participant email addresses
  • Tentative presentation titles
  • Research discipline of each presentation
  • Type of presentation (5- or 10-minute)
  • Name and email of faculty/staff participant

In addition to presenting their research live via Zoom on April 9-10, all participants (students) will upload their research (200-500 word abstract and a PDF of poster or presentation slides) directly via Symposium. After you submit student information, we will send these participants a link to the Symposium submission page. We also ask that you share this information directly with them as soon as possible, and we may later solicit your help in making sure they meet the submission deadline.

Deadlines

February 26, 2021: Deadline for staff/faculty to submit participant information via the Google Form above.

March 31, 2021: Deadline for student participants to register and submit abstract and PDF of poster or presentation slides via Symposium.
